How to get there
The event will take place at the Grand Hotel Dino, Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi, 20, 28831 Baveno VB, Italy. If travelling to the area by plane, by far the easiest airport to use is MALPENSA - Milan. From Malpensa airport, the easiest way to get to Baveno is to take a taxi or Uber - approximately 1 hour, Euro100. It's also possible to arrive in Baveno from Milan by train, by bus and by ferry, or a combination of all three.

The conference language is English.
Conference security
Baveno is generally a safe location, but you should exercise normal levels of precautions against street crime (as in any world city) by making sure that your valuables are out of sight (or better still in your hotel room safe). There will be security at the conference and exhibition, and all delegates are required to wear their conference badges to access the event facilities.
Conference fees
The fee includes attendance at the conference and exhibition, conference proceedings volume and presentations, lunches and Welcome and Farewell drinks receptions.

Awards Gala Dinner
The Global Insulation Awards Dinner will take place on the evening of Wednesday 19 November at the Villa Muggia (pictured below), a classic mansion and grounds in the village of Stresa near Baveno, with an Italian Chef trained in prestigious Italian hotels such as Hotel Quisisana Capri and Hotel Villa d'Este, Lake Como, and representing Italy in 3 World Culinary Championships, with the following menu:
Reception:
Nebbiolo Spumante
Stuffed Caprese Focaccia - Traditional Italian focaccia filled with fresh mozzarella, red cherry Riviera tomatoes, and fresh basil. Roman-Style pizza alla Pala - Light and airy pizza dough baked on a stone and topped with gourmet locally sourced ingredients.
Rustic Tuscan bruschetta - Toasted artisanal sourdough bread baked in traditional wood-fired ovens of the Ossola region with a variety of authentic Tuscan toppings.

Starters:
Artichoke flan with Gorgonzola sauce and walnuts - A delicate and creamy artichoke soufflé, paired with the bold flavours of Gorgonzola cheese and crunchy walnuts.
Eggplant Parmigiana- Layers of fried eggplant, tomato sauce, and Parmigiana Reggiano, baked to perfection.
Milanese Risotto with diced ossobuco - A luxurious saffron-infused risotto, enhanced with tender veal ossobuco, finely diced for an exquisite texture.
Calamarata pasta with Scorpionfish and Sicilian-Style aromatic breadcrumbs- A traditional Southern Italian dish featuring ring-shaped pasta, delicate scorpionfish, and fragrant toasted breadcrumbs with Mediterranean herbs.
Main:
Roasted Veal with Trentino apples and oven-roasted potatoes- A refined and tender veal roast, enhanced by the sweetness of Trentino apples, served with golden, crispy roasted potatoes.
Dessert:
Lemon Sorbet - A refreshing palate-cleanser, made with the finest lemons for a crisp and invigorating finish.
Torta Caprese - A rich and flourless chocolate and almond cake from the island of Capri, offering an intense yet balanced sweetness.

Dress code - Conference
Dress code for the conference, the welcome and farewell parties and the gala dinner is smart casual or business attire - or national dress.
Photography and videography
Registration and participation in the event includes your agreement to allow the use of your likeness in photos and video created by the organisers for promotional and other purposes.
Cancellation
Please note that conference fees are not refundable unless the conference is cancelled, in which case fees will be refunded after an administrative deduction of 20%. The organisers will not be liable for any additional expenses - you are strongly advised to take out insurance to cover any consequent losses, or to claim on any existing corporate insurance policy. You are advised to secure your visa before registering for the conference. Substitutions from the same company can be made at no cost up to three working days before the event.
