Technostyle to enter Azerbaijani insulation market
20 June 2023Azerbaijan: Russia-based Technostyle has indicated its intention to launch its polyisocyanurate (PIR) sandwich panel insulation on the Azerbaijani market.
The Azerbaijan Industry Review newspaper has reported that Technostyle's PIR panels project manager Aleksey Demyanov said "We are confident in the quality of our sandwich panels and engineering solutions, which can significantly contribute to the construction industry. We strive to become reliable partners for Azerbaijani construction companies, offering them advanced technologies and helping them to implement ambitious projects."
Azerbaijan: Titan Group says it plans to start export insulated sandwich panels and refrigerators to Georgia from September 2020. The industrial products manufacturer made the decision following market research that identified demand in Central Asia, according to the Trend News Agency. The company produces panels using polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) and rigid polyurethane (PUR). It says it is the only company making these products in Azerbaijan.
Penoplex holds ground-breaking ceremony for new insulation board plant in Azerbaijan
17 December 2019Azerbaijan: Russia’s Penoplex has held a ground-breaking ceremony for a new insulation board plant it is building in Hajigabul district. The project is part of an interstate partnership between Azerbaijan and Russia, according to the Trend News Agency. Penoplex operates eight plants in Russia, one plant in Kazakhstan and one plant in Uzbekistan.
Azerbaijan/Georgia: TechnoNicol plans to increase its mineral wool exports to Azerbaijan and Georgia from Russia by 30% year-on-year in 2019, according to the Trend News Agency. Mineral wool production at its Krasny Sulin plant in Russia increased by 6% year-on-year to 1.5Mm3 in 2018 due to growing exports.
TechnoNICOL plans to supply products to Azerbaijan
10 September 2015Azerbaijan: Russia's TechnoNICOL wants to establish cooperation with Azerbaijan by 2016 to supply the country with insulation materials for industrial and civil projects.
General director of TechnoNICOL's mineral insulation department Irek Allayarov said that it plans to supply Azerbaijan from TechnoNICOL's new 1.3Mm3/yr plant in Krasny Sulin Industrial Park in Rostov, Russia. He added that close proximity to the borders with several countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) would make exports ideal. Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Armenia have all been targeted.
"The plant's products include general construction, technical insulation and materials for fire protection systems. In the future we will consider the production of agricultural products, such as insulation used for the construction of greenhouses," said Allayarov.
